The Arizona Cup is an annual outdoor target archery tournament held in April complying with USA Archery rules. It began in 1989 in Tempe at Arizona State University, moved to Tucson and returned to Phoenix, Arizona in 2001. The Arizona Cup is celebrating its 29th anniversary in 2018. The 2018 AAE Arizona Cup is a USA Archery USAT Series Qualifier.

We offer classes beginning in February and run them throughout the year. Our classes are open to youth and adults and all equipment is provided.

30 3-D targets from 25 to 60 yards.
Yardages will not be marked—Bring your own rangefinder.
Registration opens at 7:00 am and closes at 8:30 am.
$55 per shooter—All shooters are required to be USA Archery members for insurance purposes. You can sign up online at www.webpoint.usarchery.org or sign up at the shoot.

-Shooting starts at 9:00 am with the first 15 targets
-Finish the second 15 targets after lunch.
No food will be available on site but enough time will be given to go to nearby restaurants or bring your own.
Top 5 in each class will have a shoot off after scores are calculated.
Classes are men’s open and men’s pins, women’s open and women’s pins. No limit on the number of pins and no stabilizer limits.
Belt buckles awarded to the top shooter in each class.
Several targets will be designated as prize targets. Score a 12 on a prize target and you will be entered to win that prize.
Last year prizes ranged from a dozen arrows to a custom knife.

The ABFAA will be hosting the Duel in the Desert in 2016.
Duel Trials will be held on October 16, 2016. The Duel Trials will be held at the Paseo Vista Park Archery Range in Chandler. Fliers for this shoot can be found here – Shoot Fliers. Registration information can be found here – Registration.
The dates for the Duel in the Desert are November 12-13, 2016. The Duel will be held at the FITA Range at Ben Avery Shooting Facility. Set up will be on Friday. The range should be ready for practice on Friday afernoon.
Duel team consists of 6 recurve males and females and 6 compound males and females and one alternative for each division.
The first day of competition will be a 72 arrow round shot at 70 meters with 3 arrow ends. The second day will be a 900 round at 60, 50, and 40 meters with 6 arrow ends.
Each archer will shoot against their counterpart from the California and Baja teams. Winners of each end will receive 3 points per end. Two way ties will split 1.5 to 1.5 and a three way tie gives each archer 1 point.
The team with the highest overall points will be the winner.
